As stated in the first part of this book, it was bought by John
Barrow September 1838 for the use of Unity Church. As the records in this book
will show the church ceased to use it for that purpose in December 1871. The
author of this sketch being a grandson of the donor and having possession of
said book, think it proper to use the following pages for a family record
beginning with my Great Grandfather Daniel Barrow who served in the old
Revolutionary war from its beginning to the end, and his descendants as far as

On October 1st, 1818 the above John Barrow married

James Barrow and Sabray Musgrave were married
July 16, 1865. She was Sabray CARTER, daughter of Miles and Anna Carter and was
born Oct., 1, 1832 in Posey Co., IN. She was first married to William J?
MUSGRAVE in 1849. The second marriage to James Barrow (was on) July 16, 1865.
To this union four children were born as follows:
